Bear...special needs...rescued from kill shelter

Bear...this sweet guy is mostly deaf and had a leg injury when we picked him up.  He is learning hand signals and beginning to lope around the play yard a little with the others.  We don't expect him to recover much past the point he is now and finding an adopter willing and experienced to deal with his problems will probably not be possible.  However, he is a sweetheart and he really loves people and other dogs so - he will be given the chance with us that he never had for love and kisses and will live with us for the rest of his natural life. If you are interested in Bear to sponsor, please contact us via the info on the home page or click on the Pay Pal button to donate to Bear's account.

Lovey...a true angel baby
ADOPTED!

Lovey came to us from a rescue in GA that was closing for health reasons and is a true bi-eyed sweetheart.  When I originally saw all this hair the first reaction was "oh me" but it is silky soft, almost completely tangle free, only needs a good brush a couple of times a week and best of all she loves to be petted and groomed.  Her favorite thing is belly rubs and she really smiles when you indulge her in one.  This girl will need a special, experienced husky home as she can be jealous, wants all your attention and will have to be taught to play well with any others.  While she is doing great and learning to play, she seems to do best with small dogs and dominant males but other females takes some careful introductory work.  She is approx. 1-1/2 - 2 yr. old and completely house trained as well as fairly obedient (for a husky).  If you are interested in adopting or sponsoring Lovey, please contact us thru the info on the home page.  Adoption fee is $250

Ms. Scarlett is a real lady with personality plus
ADOPTED!

Miss Scarlett is a beautifull, blue-eyed, red and white young lady with lots of energy and love to spare.  She is a true cuddle bug that likes to be in charge.  She loves to run but is equally content going for a car ride,  laying beside you watching TV or reading a book.  Scarlett is approx. 2 yr. old and is house trained as well as kennel trained and walks well on a leash (for a husky).  She is UTD on all vacs, spayed and microchipped and is ready for a loving, forever home.  Her adoption fee is $300 and she will make a wonderful companion for the experienced husky owner.  If you have room for this beautiful girl in your home and life as a full time companion...please email us for an application -  [email protected]

TASHA is a busy, busy girl

Tasha is probably not quite 2 yr. old and was rescued from a kill shelter.  She is a sweet, loving girl that is always busy so it is difficult to get her to pose for her glamour shots.  She likes love and kisses but not cats and has not been around really small children.  She would love to have a forever home where she can be the center of attention and receive all your love.  Tasha's adoption fee is $250 and if you would like an adoption application for her please email us at [email protected]

Ruby's mom is in Iraq

This sweet girl is a real talker and has been asking for her mom often.  Her mom was deployed to Iraq and no other family members could take her so we committed to keep her until it is known when she will be back and whether she will be in a position to take her back home.  In the meantime, we have discovered that she has a great personality for therapy and are going to work on having her certified as a therapy dog.  If you would like to be a sponsor for Ruby, please see our home page for donation information or click the button below.

Izzy....I am NOT a wolf
ADOPTED!

When we found Izzy the week before Christmas, some AC officer had labeled her as a wolf which meant she could not go to the adoption area and would be automatically euthanized!  One look at these crystal blue eyes and I just fell in love.  She is sweet, affectionate and mischievious but minds well for a young husky and does well in both her crate and the house.  Loves to go for walks and is better than most on a leash.  She is between 1-2 yr. old and about 35 lbs.  Izzy has been spayed, is UTD on all vaccines and is microchipped.  She will go to an experienced owner with excellent references only and her adoption fee is $300.  If you are the perfect, loving home for this sweetheart, please email us for an application [email protected]

Murphy...the couch potato
WE HAVE DECIDED TO ADOPT HIM!

This guy is an adorable, affectionate, older gentlemen (approx. 5 y.o.) that loves to lay around and go for long walks or car rides.  Don't be fooled though, like all huskies, if he sees an opportunity to escape there will be a long adventure to catch up to him.  He is neutered,  UTD on vaccines and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $300 and if you would like an application please email us at [email protected]

Harley...aka Grumpy

Harley came from an abuse/neglect situation and walked around grunting constantly when he first came to us.  He has gradually learned to play with others and is slowly beginning to trust some humans and accept affection but he needs to stay with us a while longer or go to a very, very experienced owner that would have the patience and knowledge to finish his training and learn to be his leader.  He will walk on a leash (kind of) and is perfect in his crate and doing fairly well on house manners. You would need to be willing and committed to his rehabilitation and waiting for his love and trust.  If you would be interested in being notified in the future when Harley is ready for a forever home or would like to contribute to his continued training, please email us.

Skye...our smallest bundle of energy

Skye is only about 18" tall and 35-40 lbs and is 3 yr. old.  She was taken from a breeder that was shut down and is a sweet, affectionate bundle of energy.  She would make a great agility dog if someone had the patience to train her as she is really smart but stong-willed (like most huskies).  She walks well on a leash and is crate trained but will have accidents if not allowed out frequently and gets too excited.  She would do best with someone that can give her lots of attention and isn't gone for long periods of time.  Skye walks well on a leash and loves to go for car rides and she has good house and car manners.  Skye's adoption fee is $300 and if you think that you would be the perfect, loving home for this little girl, please email us for an application.   [email protected]
